Prevented a small training business from failing and then sold it
This client was a small VC backed training provider that delivered various NVQs and was funded by the Skills Funding Agency. Due to government cut-backs, the business was struggling and looked like it could fail.
Working closely with the MD, I put together a detailed cash-flow forecast that looked 6 months into the future and highlighted areas where cash could be saved. Ultimately, some strong cash management and cost reductions were required, which meant that the business stayed afloat and was ultimately sold to a larger training provider.
