Secured funding of £0.5m for a small IT company
This client had a particular product in the largest growth area of its business, but the product wasn’t up to the standards of its competitors. With significant investment, it was felt that the revenues generated from this product could rise from around £0.5m per year to £5m over a three-year period.
After speaking to a number of investment houses and other potential investors, I secured debt funding of £0.5m, which enabled both development of the product and prevented dilution of the holdings of the shareholders. Nine months in, and the product is generating revenue of over £1m per annum.
